In 1982, he was on the cover of Playboy. He began acting in 1986 and was in a few episodes of Guiding Light. It was him who played William Reynolds on the daytime show.

Besides that, he was in a number of other TV shows and movies. The last time Renauld was seen on screen was in the 2017 horror movie Central Park.
